When you use our services, you may provide us with: your name and email address when placing an order or creating an account; payment information processed securely by Stripe (we never store full card numbers); VIN numbers or property addresses you search; and communications you send us.

We automatically collect certain technical information including: IP address and general location; browser type and device information; pages visited and time spent on our site; and referring URLs. This data is used to improve our services and is not sold to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: deliver the vehicle or property report you purchased; send you your report PDF by email; respond to support inquiries; process refunds; prevent fraud and abuse; improve our website and services; and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing); email delivery providers (report delivery only); and as required by law or valid legal process.

4. Data Security

We protect your data using 256-bit TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorized personnel.

5. Data Retention

We retain your order and report data for the period specified in your plan (30 days for Basic, 1 year for Premium) plus an additional 90 days for support purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@reportdesks.com.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; opt out of any marketing communications; and file a complaint with your state's data protection authority.
